Mandoca (or Mendonca): The pretzel produced in the Zulia state, a typical dessert

Mandoca (or Mendonca) is the Venezuelan cuisine equivalent of a pretzel and is produced primarily in the state of Zulia. It is a ring of maize flour that is mixed with brown sugar, grated cheese years very ripe banana. All this is mixed and fried. Often eats hot with grated cheese, butter or margarine (although the latter are not recommended because ingredients that absorb oil when fried and are high in fat).
