Mandoca (or Mendonca) is the Venezuelan cuisine equivalent of a pretzel and is produced primarily in the state of Zulia. It is a ring of maize flour that is mixed with brown sugar, grated cheese years very ripe banana. All this is mixed and fried. Often eats hot with grated cheese, butter or margarine (although the latter are not recommended because ingredients that absorb oil when fried and are high in fat). It is very common in western Venezuela and common part of breakfast Maracaibo (People from Maracaibo, Zulia State), typically accompanied by coffee.

However, it is not surprising to find it as an accompaniment to meat dishes, fish or chicken, without losing its characteristic sweet touch. You should be try when you travel to Venezuela, my darling.

The chicken salad is a salad in which the main ingredient is chicken that has been previously boiled and shredded. Sometimes potatoes are added and cooked carrots and cut into brunoise (squares) and peas. Sometimes apple is added to a sour taste. Seasoned with mayonnaise (mayonnaise), salt, pepper and a touch of mustard. It is an alternative to traditional chicken salad, served in Venezuela as a Christmas dish. You should be eat it when you travel to Venezuela.
This salad is one of the very famous Reina Pepiada (arepa is filled with this salad and topped with slices of avocado). Its a very special Venezuelan cuisine typical that you should be try, my friend.

A empanada (pie) is a preparation consisting of a thin bread dough, or puff pastry stuffed with savory or sweet any food. Usually made with wheat, but may be made from corn and other cereals, and sometimes with the addition of some fat, like oil or butter. It is a food produced by most of the food cultures of all countries. When you travel to Venezuela, you have to eat it, for sure.
